Untried Wednesday: KB Shimmer Myth You Lots

Happy hump day everyone!  I hope you all are having a great week so far.  Me?  I'm so ready for this three day weekend.  I just love bank holidays.  Now if only we were going somewhere and taking advantage of it.... ;-P

Today I have KB Shimmer's Myth You Lots.  This has been sitting in my untried basket for way longer than I would like to admit.  I went through a duochrome phase for a good long while and this was one of the polishes that I had been lusting after the most.

Myth You Lots shifts from purple to blue to gold and green with holographic glitter.  It took three sheer coats to be opaque.  The holo was strong and scattered.  The shift was not really the best with this one, in my opinion.  Duochromes are generally difficult to capture in photos, but in real life I didn't have much of a shift.  Maybe I'm just spoiled at this point with the I Love Nail Polish multichromes, but I'm meh on Myth You Lots.

Mani Monday: Herringbone Accent

Happy Monday all!  Hope everyone is doing well.  I have something a little different for everyone today for my mani.  I am not an artist, not by a log shot.  That's why I have a writing degree and I count money all day.  I like words, I'm good at numbers, but art?  Not my thing at all.  So today I tried to do a freehand design.  Really, I just like to make things difficult for myself.

I painted my nails with three coats of OPIs Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm and my accent is  two coats of ORLYs Mirrorball.  I then used a nail art brush to draw two vertical lines on my middle nail and then alternating diagonal lines between the vertical ones in Mirrorball.   Honestly, I can't paint a straight line to save my life, so I actually went in quite a bit with Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm to neaten my lines.  Over all, this was relatively easy, it just took a little bit of patience.  I would not be able to paint all of my nails this way, but it is nice for an accent.

Random Post: Virago Varnish Enchanting Sirens

Happy Sunday!  I'm so excited for brunch today guys.  I am going to grub, so hard.  I keep saying that I have a wedding dress sitting in my dad's closet for me to wear and it's because of days like today.  Most days I have to be really good so I can go ham on special occasions.  

Today I have two polishes from Virago Varnish's Enchanting Sirens collection.  This is a new to my collection brand, but I've been seeing these polishes on YouTube for a while now. These two made me finally bite the bullet and make an order.  

This first one is Entice, a plum jelly with gold holographic glitters.  Yeah, I said that, GOLD holo.  As much as I love holographic polishes, silver Spectraflair does become a bit repetitive.  This was a very nice change of pace.  It took two coats to be completely opaque.  I loved just how blingy this polish was.  I caught myself being distracted by my nails, a lot.  

The other polish I have today is Harmony.  It is a black jelly with the same gold holographic glitters as Entice.  I adored this polish just as much as Entice, but the formula was a took a bit more finessing.  While it was opaque at two coats, the black base looked more gray, so I had to add a coat.  Also with this one, since it is so dense with holo, the brush became packed with glitter and it was difficult to apply properly.  It took a bit more clean up than I normally have to do.  If you have a little bit of patience, this polish is totally worth it.

Swatch Saturday: Painted Polish by Lexi Trashed on Teal

Happy Saturday everyone!  Guess what?  There's a surprise today here on LacquerVixen.  Can you guess what it is?  Let me know if you notice a difference down below in the comment section.  :-)

Today I have Painted Polish's Trashed on Teal.  It is a dark teal jelly with larger holographic bits in it.  Being a jelly, the formula was sheer and a touch streaky.  The first coat was streaky, second still left my nails a little sheer, so I ended up needing a third.  As I have mentioned before, three coats for a jelly is par for the course, so I'm not upset.  :-P

Untried Wednesday: Glam Polish Swatches

Hey all, I have some very exciting swatches for you guys today.  In my latest polish binge I bit the bullet and ordered some Glam Polish.  Exciting!

This first polish is Desperate Souls.  It is a dark purple linear holo that took two coats for complete opacity.  This kind of color is not unique to my collection by a long shot, but I love me some dark purple holos.  The formula on this was super smooth and easy to work with.  It could have potentially been opaque with one thick coat, but I prefer two thin ones in general.  

This is Kilauea from The Over the Rainbow Part 3 collection.  Being as it was Hawaii themed, I had to have it, along with the next polish.  It is a black jelly with holo glitter and iridescent flakes.  The formula was really nice and smooth.  I reached opacity with two coats.  The first coat was pretty sheer, and the second coat builds it up very nicely.  

Finally I have Ohana from the Over the Rainbow Part 1 collection.  It is described as a "dark cherry red" holo with iridescent flakes.  The formula was just as good as Kilauea and was opaque in two coats.  I probably would not call it a red, to me it's a bit too pink, maybe raspberry.  The flakes in both of these polishes make them really unique to my collection and I adore all of them.  I'm already queueing up my next order!

Hard to Find Friday: Bliss Like Totally

Happy Friday everyone.  I hope you all have some fun weekend plans.  I know my weekend is going to be super super busy.  We have a Padres game tonight, I have a polish meet up tomorrow, and then we have a cake tasting on Sunday.  This is going to be an expensive and fattening weekend.  -.-

Today I have Bliss Polish's Like Totally from her 2014 summer collection.  It is a fantastically bright, neon green holo.  Bliss Polish was hoping to bring this polish back this summer, but the pigment used for it does not mix well at all.  It is super chunky and leaves pigment clots, no matter how she mixes it.  Fortunately, her new Freestyle Summer collection that released yesterday has a neon green holo.  It is a touch lighter than Like Totally, but hopefully if you need this, that will do.  You can find her store front here.  It took three coats for complete opacity.  My middle finger does look like there is nail line, but that is actually from a gel polish mishap.

I like to wear a neutral colored gel as my base for my manis and when I get bored I just change out the polish on top.  It gives my nails and extra bit of strength and when I'm not swatching, the polish actually lasts longer on my nails.  Well recently I tried a new base coat that worked a little too well.  So well that I have patches of gel polish I can't get off my nails.  They were filed down and buffed as smooth as I could get them.  I'm just hoping that they come off over time and I don't have to wait for my nails to grow out.

Hard to Find Friday: LOreal Masked Affair

If you've spent any amount of time as a nail polish junkie and following the community, you've noticed that there is usually one specific polish that everyone is rushing out to get because it has some unique aspect to it.  Whether it is a one coat blue that doesn't stain (RIP Sally Hansen Pacific Blue), a mainstream polish with multicolored flakes (RIP Color Club The Uptown), or something else all together (I still don't understand what the big deal was with Sinful Shine Prosecco), there is always something that us junkies are looking for.  And when we set our sights on something, they become that much more difficult to find.  Right now the current obsession is LOreal's Masked Affair from their Dark Sides of Grey collection.  This polish can be found only in the Dark Sides of Grey displays, and the only stores that have been carrying them are Rite Aid and Walgreens.  The kicker is that the displays only have two of each polish and they do not get restocked.  So if you like this polish, head out to look for it RIGHT NOW.

Masked Affair is a purple tinged, silver, linear holo, and a very strong one at that.  I used two coats for complete opacity.  The first was smooth and even, if not a touch thin, but the second left everything perfect.  From my understanding, there can be a bit of pulling with the second coat, so I would wait until the first coat is completely dry before adding more on top.

In the sunlight this polish is ridiculously holographic, pretty much to the extent of my Color Club Halo Hues I feel.  To see something like this at the drugstore level is pretty crazy I think.  My indoor lighting picture did not really do the polish justice.  Looking at my nails right now, in my apartment's terrible lighting, I still see a bit of a rainbow sheen and a touch of purple shift.  In the bottle you can faintly see the purple and I could not get this to translate into the pictures.

If you want this polish, you need to grab your polish loving bestie, or your very sweet significant other and go hunting for it.  I think it's totally worth it.

Untried Wednesday: Bliss Neapolitan, Starrily Babydoll, Hit Polish Decadence

Happy Wednesday all!  I hope the week has been treating you all very well.  My week has just been flying by, for once.  Here's hoping the weekend brings some fun plans.

Over the weekend I went into an organization frenzy and reorganized my helmer, my desk, and my basket of untrieds.  I managed to pair up a fair amount of my untrieds in combinations that I thought would be good together and today's swatches are one of those.

On my pointer and middle fingers I am wearing Bliss Polish's Neapolitan from one of her mystery polish sets.   It is a white crelly base with white, brown, and baby pink hexes and iridescent glitters.  The formula is nice and smooth, if not a bit sheer, but it was opaque in three coats which is pretty much the standard for polishes crellies or jellies.  This polish is no longer available on Bliss Polish, but I would keep an eye out for the next time Yvette starts doing mystery polishes again.  Yvette's mystery polishes are probably the only ones I would be willing to go in blind.  I have yet to disappointed in her polishes and I do own a fair amount of them.

On my ring finger I have two thick coats of Starrily's Babydoll.  It is a baby pink microglitter with lots of holographic particles.  The formula was easy to work with and I keep getting distracted by just how sparkly this polish is.  Now if you haven't already read my Black Friday Haul and Experience,  just know that buying from Starrily during a big sale would not be the best idea.  They usually take weeks to ship and ignore any questions.  You can check out your storefront for yourself here.

Finally, on my thumb and pinkie nails I have Hit Polish's Decadence.  It is a lovely chocolate brown cream with a linear holo.  The first coat is very patchy, but a second does even it out nicely.  I generally do not see brown polishes too often and I did not have a brown holographic so I was happy to have it.  You can check out Hit Polish's storefront here.

Swatch Saturday: A England Tristam

Hey all, I just have a quick swatch for you guys today.  This is one of the many great polishes I got for the holidays.  When I pulled it out of the layers of tissue paper and bubble wrap, I squealed.  This one has been on my wish list for a good long while.

A England's Tristam is described as a "rich, deep blue with smooth holographic particles".  Well mine is dark blueish purple.  The formula was thick, almost a touch too thick.  It was completely opaque in one coat, but clean up with particularly difficult, as you can see from my picture.  I don't know if it is because of the strange cold spell that we've been having in San Diego, but the formula of Tristam was not quite on par with the other A Englands I have tried in the past.  I am hoping that a bit of thinner will even this formula out and make it easier to work with.   The holographic particles were very dense and did give that lovely rainbow arc that we all know and love from a linear holo in the sunlight.  Unfortunately, the weather here in San Diego hates holo swatching.

Mani Monday: Red and White Polka Dots

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope you all have been having a lovely year so far.  I'm finally back.  The holidays always keep me super busy going back and forth between my family and the in laws, so I wanted to give myself a break and make sure I could start the year off right.  Now I'm all refreshed and can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

I am starting off today with one coat of Illamasqua's Throb.  Yes, you heard me right, one coat red cream.  It was smooth, opaque, and easy to use.  In case you did not know, Illamasqua is a UK brand that is only available on their website.  They used to be at Sephora, but no longer are available there.  One of the downsides of this polish, is that after exchange rates, they come to about $25 a bottle.  It's about the same range of other high end polishes, and down right cheap in comparison to the infamous Loubiton polishes that most nail junkies are freaking out about right now, but as we all know, I am cheap.  Recently Hautelook did have a sale on Illamasqua polishes, which is where I got this one and a few others.  They were on sale for $7.50, so I had no qualms swooping them up.  If you are not already signed up with Hautelook, you can totally use my referral link.  ;-)  I think they're a great place to pick up some high end products, whether it is beauty, home goods, or clothing.  It's where I got all my the Balm palettes.

I loveds this polish so much that I could not make myself do anything particularly elaborate on my nails.  For some reason, red polish always calls out for white polka dots to me.  I don't know if it is the Disney kid or the vintage gal in me, but I love red with white polka dots.  I used OPIs Alpine Snow for my dots.  It is not a one coat white, so I had to make sure my dots were super dense.  Unfortunately, that means I should have waited a little longer to top coat them, as you can tell by the slight streaking on my ring finger.  I topped off my pointer and pinkie fingers with a thin coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust.  It is a cult classic scattered holo topper.  There is no way of making this opaque, but it is a lovely way to spruce up a basic cream.

Hard to Find Friday: Dollish Polish Walker Bait

Happy Friday all!  It's only 5 more days until Christmas Eve and the last night of Hanukkah.  This year we're celebrating with Mr. LacquerVixen's family so I'm excited for a chill holiday.  When the holidays roll around with my family, there's always lots of people and food.  We open presents Christmas Eve, then we get gussied up and stay out super late with the very large extended family.  Christmas Day usually means lots of Mexican food and leftover cake, so I don't have any complaints.  My in laws, on the other hand, take a more subdued path.  We go check out the holiday lights, play board games, and watch movies.  They also open presents on Christmas Day, which means I am the first person awake, pestering everyone else to get up.  I am not particularly well known for my patience.  And this year I know there is at least one new pretty polish for me, so it's not like anyone can really blame me.  I've already started threatening to sick the dog on people if they don't wake up early enough.

Today for Hard to Find Friday, I have a polish that has been a huge lemming of mine.  This is Dollish Polish Walker Bait, which was originally released as a limited edition polish for the 2013 season premier of The Walking Dead.  I did not get a chance to grab it the first time it came out, but when she announced it was going to be coming back for a limited time in 2014, this polish became my NEED TO HAVE polish on my Secret Santa wish list.  My amazing polished partner in crime and one of my biggest supporters here, sunonwater11, actually ended up being my Secret Santa.  And she made sure to snag me this baby.  I could not be happier!

Walker Bait is one of those gross green colors, olive green if you had to specify, with a great holographic shift running through it.  It's somewhere between a scattered holo and a linear holo.  It was nearly opaque in one coat, but I added a second to cover the odd bald spot.  The formula was smooth and easy to work with.  Fun fact, my bottle actually has a hand written "56/2" on the label.  That's how limited edition it is.   ;-)

Swatch Saturday: Picture Polish Krytonite

Yay!  It's December!  So like I've said before, ALL THE HOLIDAY COLORS!  I'm not a big fan of over the top holiday colors, I much prefer to use what I have to make a holiday themed manicure myself.  Picture Polish Kryptonite is one of those colors that looks gorgeous any time of the year, but during December it screams Christmas to me.  

It is a dark green jelly with a scattered holographic glitter.  I needed two coats to reach opacity and it is just so pretty!  When I first bought this polish, I bought it entirely because of the name.  Superman is probably my least favorite superhero and Kryptonite lets me pretend that I may be able to backhand Superman.  Yes, that is how my brain works some times.  Though, now I love this polish.  So hey, I may break my fingers if I slapped Superman, but at least my nails would be fabulous in the cast.

 Kryptonite is from Picture Polish's first Blogger Collaboration Collection from 2012.  The blogger  behind the polish is Cathy of More Nail Polish.  Picture Polish is an Australian indie brand and you can find their storefront here.  I personally prefer Llarowe for all my overseas indie needs.

Random Post: Enchanted Polish October 2014

Good news everyone!  I managed to get my hands on Enchanted Polish October 2014.  If you remember my last Enchanted Polish review, I was pretty disappointed in August 2014.  If not, you can read it here.  Long story short, I was really annoyed that it was not holographic like the other ones that had been coming out this month.  Yeah, I'm THAT girl.  :-P

So Enchanted Polish October 2014 is a blackened olive green with gold shimmer and a scattered holo.  It looks identical to China Glaze's Cast a Spell, plus holo, which I love, but can't wear because the China Glaze formula hates me and will chip off my nails within twelve hours.  It is also a one coater just like the China Glaze.

I am really happy with this polish, though that may be because I've been looking for a good dupe of Cast a Spell for a while.  And holo makes everything better.  :-)

Mani Monday: Snowflakes!

Happy December everyone!  I'm finally back after my impromptu vacation.  I had not planned on being gone for a week, but we went up to my parents for Thanksgiving and that is always chaos.  If I wasn't babysitting, cooking or running errands for my dad, then I was stuck in traffic.  I had also forgotten that my parent's internet is terrible and I can never get any of my electronics to work out there.  I rarely even have phone service.  If I had been smart I would have prewritten my posts before going up there, instead of just prepping them to be written.  Oh well, we're back and up and running now, so let's get on it.

My plan for December is to use as many of my holiday polishes and glitter bombs as possible.  So be prepared for lots of red, green, gold, blue, and silver this month, along with a lot of Deborah Lippmann polishes.

Today, I started off with two coats of Zoya's Dream.  It was a strong blue jelly with a scattering of holographic glitter.   The formula was a touch thick and my application was a little messy because I wanted to be sure that I got all the edges, but that is nothing that a good clean up brush can't handle.  Now this is one of my favorite polishes, I've used this at least on four different occasions, so I suspect that the formula is thick because of the usage and the air it has been exposed to.  Nothing that a bit of thinner can't fix.

On top of Dream, I placed some glittery, silver, snowflake shaped decals from VinylsaurusRex.  Each sheet of vinyls has eight large snowflakes (like the ones on my pointer and ring fingers), four medium ones, and four small ones.  I placed them randomly on my nails and just clipped off the extra parts that did not quite fit.  Over all I liked them.  They lay down flat easily and were easy to work with.

Mani Monday: Rica Hanukkah Collection

Happy Monday!  Today I have Rica's Hanukkah Collection to show off.  A month ago, I was telling a friend how difficult it was to find holiday polishes that were not Christmas ones, so I usually skip the holiday collections.  Then I saw something on Instagram saying that Rica was having a Hanukkah collection.  I never saw swatches, I had no idea what they would look like, but I knew that I had to have them.  If you follow me on Instagram, then last Monday you would have seen the screenshot of my order.  Yeah, that's how excited I was.  So I got this in the mail over the weekend and of course had to use it right away.

This collection has three polishes called Show Me the Gelt!, 8 Crazy Nights, and I Love You Latke.  On my thumb and ring fingers I am wearing Show Me the Gelt!  It is a gold glitter with holographic gold hexes and regular copper hexes.  It was opaque in two coats.  It did dry a little bumpy, but nothing that a coat of thick top coat wouldn't fix.  I really love the glitter and I'm glad to have it in my collection because I don't really have anything like it.  On my pointer and pinkie I am wearing 8 Crazy Nights which is a super holographic blue polish.  Now when I swatched this on my swatch stick, it took four coats to be opaque and it was still kind of patchy, so I was disappointed.  On the nail though, I am wearing three coats, and the third was unnecessary.  Two coats was perfect.  Finally on my middle finger I am wearing I Love You Latke.   It is a three coat warm cream color with a gold shimmer.  It is a very pretty color and a three coater is not strange for a polish of this color.  I really like it.

On top of the polishes, I did some quick nail art.  Once 8 Crazy Nights was entirely dry, I placed lightning bolt Nail Vinyls and painted over them in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Go For the Gold.  Then on top of I Love You A Latke I placed a gold colored filgree plate.  Over all, I am happy with the end result and glad it was easy.

Mani Monday: Glitter, Polka Dots, and Mint

Happy Monday everyone!  Did you all have a nice weekend?  I'm super excited right now because tomorrow I'm going to go pick up my wedding dress.  Whaaaaaaaat??  But LacquerVixen, you're not getting married for ten months!  Well yeah, but it wasn't supposed to be ready until January/February and then I got an email two weeks after ordering it that my dress had come in.  Apparently they happened to have my size in the warehouse.  Yeah, so here's hoping it looks all nice and new.   Cross your fingers for me y'all!

Today's mani was originally inspired by those Caboodles Nail Valets that are super nifty.  They have compartments to fit your polishes so that they do not wiggle around in travel and different areas for extras, including brushes and dotting tools.  And they look like this:

Now I love me some black with white polka dot, so I have been wanting this one for so long.  So my nails started out looking like the box, then I started adding extras.  What do you all think?

On my thumb and pinkie I have OPIs My Dogsled is a Hybrid from their Nordic 2014 collection.  It is a mint cream that was nearly opaque in one coat, I added a second to cover up a few bald spots.  Seriously, this is a great polish and it is still available in stores.  If you don't own it already, go out and buy it now.  I topped my thumb with Sephora Formula X in Chaotic which has black and white hexes and black bar glitter.  Now this Formula X is from Sephora's first and short lived launch of their store brand polishes.  I found this at Big Lot's for less than two dollars, so it's not particularly easy to find, but there are plenty of other brands that came out with the same kind of thing.  China Glaze and Hard Candy are the first ones that come to mind.  On my pinkie, I just have a coat of ORLY's Shine on Crazy Diamond which is a sparse holographic topper.  The glitters are slightly larger than China Glaze's Fairy Dust.

On my pointer finger I have two coats of Nails Inc in Noho which was from their Leather Effect polishes.  It is slightly textured and is probably my favorite black, glitterless texture polish.  I also added a silver square shaped stud on the base of my nail.  In the past, I have always just used a dot of top coat to glue studs on, but they would only really last about twelve hours before they popped off.  So today I used brush on Gel Resin.  So far it has lasted through a shower, sleep, and cooking, so it works pretty well for me.  

My middle finger is just two coats of Essie's Hors d'ouevers.  It is a dense gold glitter polish with silver hexes.  Finally, on my ring finger I painted one coat of my much beloved Cult Nails Fetish then made my dots with OPIs My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  

I am pretty happy with the over all result and I hope you guys like it too.  :-)

Hard to Find Friday: Stardust Mother of Dragons

Happy Friday!  It's finally here!  Ah, this week has been crazy and now we can finally all breathe. ..Tomorrow.  :-P  Trying to keep up on NaNoWriMo this week with life and still trying not to neglect you guys has been kicking my butt.  I am still here though and barring crazy stuff happening, I will keep being here.  So let's get on with today's Hard to Find Friday!  

This is Stardust Polish in Mother of Dragons from her Game of Thrones collection.  This collection was first released over a year ago and has since been discontinued.  I only own one more from this collection and this was my favorite.  It is a pink polish with an orange duochrome, a bit of purple flash, and a scattered holo.  Yeah it's amazing.  It took me two coats for complete opacity.  Now the formula on mine was a bit thick and kind of difficult to work with, BUT I blame that on the fact that it is an older polish that I have abused quite a bit.  This may be the forth or fifth time I've used it so there is a very obvious usage line on it.  The combination of that and how much it has been open to the air probably made it thicker.  It is nothing that some thinner wouldn't fix.  So if you can find a bottle of this, get it!  If you have it already in your collection use it.

Untried Wednesday: Bliss Polish Alice

Happy Hump Day everyone!  I hope you are all having a good day.  The weekend and Halloween are coming up, and I know all of us are looking forward to them.  Also to all of the writers, National Novel Writing Month is starting up on Saturday.  For those of you that don't know, NaNoWriMo is a challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days, which averages out to 1667 words a day or 6-7 pages.  This is going to be my fourth year doing it.  Anyone else doing it with me?  No?  Well then let's just move onto the nail polish swatches, I know that's why you're really here. :-P

This is Bliss Polish Alice from her NGF collection.  Yvette dedicated each of this collection of five polishes to herself and the four other ladies that make up her Nail Girl Family.  Alice is inspired by squishynpolished.  It is a dove gray linear holo polish that took three coats to be opaque.  The holographic glitter may not be as dense as my beloved Color Club Beyond, but Alice is a very pretty polish and a nice addition to any collection.  The formula is a little thin, but very easy to work with.  I had no streaking or pulling.  I was actually wearing this at the gym last night and got distracted by all the blingy holo, as usual.  ;-P  If you're interested, you can pick this up here, but I know that the storefront will be changing this Saturday and rumor has it that there may be a coupon code for the launch.  Make sure you follow Bliss Polish to keep up on it and all future sales.

Hard to Find Friday: FUN Lacquer Belle 1.0

Happy Friday!  Looks like it's holo week here at LacquerVixen Headquarters.  I seem to just be pulling holographic polishes this week and I have no problem with that!

Today for Hard to Find Friday I have FUN Lacquer's Belle from her first set of Limited Edition Disney Princess holographic polishes.  This gold polish is inspired by Belle's fantastic ball gown.  It took two coats for complete opacity.  It is a scattered holo and the best way to see it is in sunlight.  In door it just looks like regular glitter.  FUN Lacquer did recently release a new Limited Edition Disney Princess collection where the holographic factor was amped up.  For Belle at least, the 2.0 version may be a better option if you love the full rainbow factor that holographic glitter gives.  Over all I like this polish, but I don't love it.  The formula is solid and the gold is a flattering shade, but I really wish the holo was more obvious.  Go big or go home.

Hard to Find Friday: Bliss Polish Jax 2.0

Hey all.  If you've been following my blog for the past few months, you may remember a Mani Monday of mine where I used Bliss Polish's Jax.  I loved that polish.  It was a one coat charcoal with a hint of shimmer and dried to a matte finish.  So when Yvette announced that she was going to be releasing a second Sons of Anarchy collection in honor of the final season and that there was going to be a super limited edition, only 40 bottles being made, Jax 2.0 with holo, I had to have it.  

This is two coats of Jax 2.0.  It is not quite as opaque as the first, but two coats were perfect.  I am not sure how to classify the kind of holo that this polish has.  Yvette had described it as a scattered holo, but according to JessFACE90's video The Nail Polish Dictionary the rainbow arc on my nails makes it a linear holo.  By the way, everyone should watch this video if you have any questions what so ever about polish terms.  It may be 37 minutes long, but totally worth it.

Pardon the blurry picture, but that was the best way to show the holo with my camera.  What do you guys think, scattered, linear, or somewhere between both?
